When we read the bible we must remember to read it in context. A good example is the sermon on the mount. Jesus was speaking Jews and reminding them what the Old Covenant said about forgiveness and adultery etc….. Sometimes Christians are frightened about what scripture says. This message is about what the Lord’s prayer says about forgiveness verses where we live in the New Covenant. There is no need to be afraid dear friend. You can REST in what Jesus has accomplished for you.
